Step 1: Account Calibration
Before you push your first URL, you must calibrate your account for your specific CMS and market.
In your settings, define your **Primary Indexing Engine** (Google, Bing, or Both) and set your **Crawl Velocity**. For most sites, we recommend the "Industrial Balanced" setting, which maximizes indexing speed without putting undue stress on your origin server.
Step 2: Connecting the Pipes (API Setup)
Google Indexing API
Download your JSON service account key from the Google Cloud Console and upload it to SiteGrip. This is the direct line to Google's real-time index.
Bing IndexNow
Generate your IndexNow key within SiteGrip and place it in your root directory. This ensures instant discovery for Bing and Yandex.
Step 3: Your First Industrial Push
Go to the **Command Center** and select "New Submission." You can either paste a list of URLs or upload a CSV.
The Pre-Push Validation
SiteGrip will first run a "Shadow Crawl" of your URLs.
This ensures that the pages are actually indexable (no `noindex` tags, no 404s, and valid JSON-LD). Once the validation passes, hit "Execute." You will see the real-time status of every URL as it is accepted by the search engine APIs.
Step 4: Activating AEO Visibility
Once your indexing is running, it's time to turn on **AEO Insights**.
Connect your Google Search Console property to SiteGrip. We will begin analyzing your "Impression Share" and comparing it to your "Citation Share" in AI answer engines. Use the **Trust Dashboard** to flag your highest-authority content for AI prioritization.
Step 5: Setting Up Alerts
Don't wait for your traffic to drop to realize there's a problem.
- Indexing Alerts: Get notified if more than 5% of your submitted URLs return an error.
- Rank Alerts: Monitor your core keywords for sudden changes in position.
- AEO Alerts: Get notified if an AI agent stops citing your brand for a primary entity.
